Atlantic Realty & Property Management, located in High Point, NC, has been an effective and trusted resource for property management clients for over 100 years. Atlantic has been owned and managed by three generations of the Cridlebaugh family.
Established in 1922 as Atlantic Building & Loan by Cam Cridlebaugh, Sr and his wife, Francis. Originally a savings and loan business, the company began offering property management services during the depression years. After property management became a full time operation, the savings and loan portion of the business was sold and eventually became part of BB&T.
Cam Cridlebaugh, Jr was welcomed into the company in the early 1960's after graduating from Davidson College in 1958 and spending two years in the United States Navy. Cam Jr was constantly involved with High Point business and community development efforts. His commitment to Rotary International is legendary with 47 years perfect attendance. Rotary International is not only a vehicle for promotion of local economic issues, it also supports charitable efforts around the world. Outside of the office, Cam Jr. was a respected and inspired circus historian. During his 78 years, he collected countless artifacts and spent many hours on circus grounds, friends with the folks who dedicate their lives to the art of circus.
Cam Cridlebaugh, III joined Atlantic Realty & Property Management in 2001 after graduation from Catawba College in 1994. Cam III has also been involved in his community, having served five years on the High Point Human Relations Committee, a city ordained body of citizens to help organize special events and build public awareness around human rights issues. Six main committees under the commission consist of: Executive, Fair Housing, Education, Interfaith Affairs, International Advisory and Special Programs. In addition, Cam III served as 2015 president of Regional Association of Realtors, after serving three years on their Board of Directors. He has also served on the Board of Directors and President of the Sheraton Hills Swim Club for three years. Cam III is a member of the YMCA Men's Club, serving on the Core City Citizens Advisory Board of Ignite High Point.
Today, the company thrives under third generation management and a long standing, dedicated staff. Atlantic Realty continues to serve its community and clients, some of whom have maintained a solid business relationship of more than forty years.
